Homunculus 3

Homunculus 3. An ongoing series inspired by recent studies into alchemy. This is the first real painting I've done in a year. Took me a couple days to get back into the brushwork, but once I got going I realized how vital and nourishing painting is. Doing design, typography, and printing is very fulfilling, but ink painting is a deep seated ritual that takes me to a place of ecstatic awareness.

Need to clean this up and adjust the image balance, but wanted to put this out because I am excited to have finished it.
