An example of a theme with intriguing possibilities, which fell victim to my inexperience with the brush and lack of subtle design sense. This was done in early 2005. I am trying to refine this idea and rework it for future pieces. Further detail shots are in my gallery.

*no*~*NO*~*NO*~*No*~*no*...

No Freakin' Way.

One of my very favorite quotes ever is ...

"Holy Marry Mother of God!!!"

Now, Brutha, that's the farthest thing in the world I'd ever associate with YOU personally ... cuz, well, we've killed too many bottles of Demon Slayer together & had WAY to many passionate Art Discussions/Car Burnin' Arguments/Battles to ever use something like that ...

Especially to describe you or the VooDoo that you do Do ...

But that's the very first thing echoed in my brain ...

Then it was ... "Holy Freakin' Dog Balls !!!" ... after a few more moments ... soooo ...

Pick your Fav outa the 2. ;-)

Oh yeah ...

P.S. Next time you come down ... you GOTTA bring this piece !!!

My Unk just got this crazy new lens who's native resolution is mutantly, freakishly Epic ... kinda like your eyes Bro. =D

It's a "science" lens who's original job was to photograph hella high end cathode ray tubes.

They say that the average human eye can discern 8 lines per millimeter. This lens can gleam 250+ lines per millimeter !!!

As soon as he told me this I instantly thought of you & your Super Mutant Unrealistically High Powered Technical Perceptions of What-The-Fk-Dom. ;-)

So proud to even know you man ... So proud ...

You are lovely, man. I'm actually working on an ouroboral beasty as we speak. Just taking a break to watch sketchtheatre.com. Some great stuff there. About this piece, I just extracted it from the plexi it was melded to for the last show. Got a little torn up from the tape. Damn that lame framing style. This piece needs to be redone, as it looks like hell in person...
Are you referring to this actual piece, or just life in general? Either way, I give you a faraway hug as a cartoon bubble appears above my head with an anthropomorphized bottle of Demon Slayer looking worried at the two thirsty wild boys hugging in earnest. Forgot to tell you that I quit drinking almost two weeks ago and have managed to fool myself that bubbly mineral water (San Pellegrino) is more fun to drink every night than beer...
I love your interpretation of the ouroboros; its iterative nature really reflects the continuous cycle of rebirth.
Thanks! the ouroboros is continually fascinating to me...need to do more of them...
Thanks for checking it out!
